no way i wouldn't say thats cheating. But having feelings for someone who is not your bf and spending time with that person flirting and having fun could be classed as having an emotional affair no?

I think it all depends on your intentions and the honesty surrounding it

I think it depends on how your partner would take it . Some men would think nothing of it but the vast majority who are in a serious relationships won't take it so lightly. If the guy you are dating is not committed to you and is not thinking about a future with you then he probably wouldn't see it as a big deal. Of course this won't help him to think better of you when he is considering a deeper commitment.

see.... this is iffy.... i pecked a dude on the lips when i was in a relationship... it was a silly peck and while the peck itself had no meaning to it i did have a mini crush on this dude. I never would've taken it further.....but i never considered that as cheating, but maybe it was?

I think it depends also on your relationship. In the instance I mentioned above, I wasn't getting any kind of affection from my then boyfriend and this dude i pecked gave me tons of it... so.. ehh... i dunno... i guess it depends... so many factors come into play....I told my boyfriend at the time about it... he got pissed.. which was understandable.

I agree with Dawn; it's circumstantial. If it would offend one person in the relationship, then it is cheating. Let's say if you were the one to peck someone on the lips. It may not mean a thing to you, but if it bothers your partner, you have to reevaluate how you view it- if you are serious with your partner.

My opinion: a peck on the lips can still mean something. I'd be hurt.
