How are you an activist? Who is your favorite activist?
Just wondering how you are active, what you are active in, and who is your favorite activist/role model/inspiration?
Currently, I am a member of the RAINN's Speaker's Bureau (rainn.org). RAINN stands for rape, abuse and incest national network. I was raped when I was a child, and being a Speaker means being a 'face' for RAINN in the media. When a journalist/newspaper/media form contacts RAINN for a personal story, I am one of the people that get interviewed. My blog is also a way I get the word out about it.

I have multiple favorite activists; John Lennon and Bono are a couple, but it was a woman I met once that got me to be as active as I am. She was very in-your-face and changed my life for the better.
