I am totally incognito and the Queen of vagueness! I don't use my real name, I never post photos of myself (which is hard to do!) and I am vague about where I work and what I do. I don't want to get fired for blogging!
I hear you, girl!! I also don't want to get sued for slandering the guys I have dated. One is a public figure and would most definitely not appreciate it.
Even if you did blog about one of your ex's, couldn't you change the name? Or maybe refer to him by a number or something of the sort? That way it couldn't be proven. Just a thought!
fo' sho'! i've just started but i'm definitely planning on keeping this anonymous! i'm writing with a great friend of mine about some pretty scandalous stuff, so we're both doing this anonymously. :)

Wow Courtney! You are both kind of naughty! I left a comment anonymously because I couldn't seem to log in on google. Looks like no one will rat you out.
I blog anonymously since I write about finances, which is very personal. If a friend happened to stumble on my blog, they could probably figure it out eventually, but the chances seem pretty slim. I'm pretty sure most of my friends don't read personal finance blogs.
They probably should read a personal finance blog. I wish they had been more popular when i was in school. But it's never too late to learn!!!
OMG, I feel the same way. My best friend is the only person that knows about my blog. I have too much personal information that I wouldn't want any of my other friends to know, I mean it would not be the end of the world if they found out but I rather keep it a secret.
Not really. I'm pretty fairly open with most of my friends.
If they find it, they find it.

And with Wordpress, I could always password protect if I needed to.
Since I have a blog that focuses on dating/relationships, I'm really strict on NOT letting guys I meet know that I have my blog because 9 times out of 10 I'm writing about them. Sneaky I know, but ya gotta love it.

Yes, but not because I'm talking about stuff that'll get me into any trouble. It's just that most of my friends remember the college version of me and would be flabbergasted to read the somewhat tame, lovey-dovey, and family-oriented stuff I blog about. I know it's nothing to really worry about, but I still kinda do.
