Bay Area Folks!

I was born and raised in the Bay, but I'd love to hear what some of your favorite things to do in the area are. I'm always looking for new places/activities/events to check out, so it'd be great to get some ideas. Some of my favorites include:

1. Hiking in the Marin Headlands/Tennessee Valley.

2. North Beach. Especially Gelateria Naia.

3. The free bookstore in El Cerrito.

4. Sol Food in Marin. So delicious.

5. Academy of Sciences/Exploratorium.

Any suggestions?

there are lots of hiking areas around los gatos/palo alto area..i go to a lot of the open space preserves, it's a perfect middle ground for friends from up in sf/north bay to meet with south bay people

any museums too. i've yet to go to the academy of sciences! so pricey!

Hike in the redwoods. Big Basin is awesome, of course.
Maverik surf competition.
San Francisco. (enough said)

Surfing, hiking, photos, cruising the coast line. There are lots of great thing to do here!
