Just one, huh?
I love Jennifer Weiner, Jane Green.
I might have to go with Jemima J (Jane Green) or In her Shoes (jennifer Weiner). Though it is super hard for me to pick just one!
Love this group already!

Best chick-lit novel of all time? Hands down, Milkrun by Sarah Mylnowski. I've had to buy the book three times (thank you, EBay!) because the three times I lent the book out to girlfriends, they refused to give it back, claiming it was written about their life.
I bought this book the other day..and could not put it down. It felt like I was having an ongoing conversation with my best friend. Loved it.
Oh man, this group was so meant for me. My favorite chick-lit book was "Good in Bed" by Jennifer Weiner, followed closely with the sequel "Certain Girls". Love love love, and I've read both way more than one time!
Jane Austen, of course.
I don't really think this qualifies as 100% chick-lit... but let's face it, most of her fans are women!
any joyce carol oates, but especially foxfire. it's about a ragtag group of girls who decide to become a gang. empowering in a slightly inappropriate way.
Anything by Meg Cabot! I love her voice and how light and fun her books are to read.
I love Meg Cabot. My favorites, though, are the Heather Wells Mysteries. But I love them all.
All books by Meg Cabot and Sophie Kinsella.
I wouls say Good in Bed and Confessions of a Shopaholic.
Gotta go with a classic... Gone With the Wind

I do love 'Can you keep a secret' by Sophie Kinsella, but I'm also a huge Jenny Colgan and Jennifer Weiner fan!
It's such a tough question!!
