The Bloggers With The Most To Say

Luckily, there's only been one or two that I've picked up and read and by the time I had finished, couldn't figure out why I bothered to finish it in the first place! The one that stands out though, was called Tart, by Jody Gehrman. It was weird, I loved everything about the book (the cover, the plot, the secondary plot and characters...) except for the main character herself! It was really the first time I couldn't identify with anything she was going through or feel any empathy towards her.

How about you? Any books you've read that you would suggest NOT reading?

This might be a controversial choice, but Lipstick Jungle. Boring.
Also The WAG's Diary. Badly written.
I completely agree with Lipstick Jungle! Good to see I'm not the only one.
Chasing Harry Winston by Lauren Weisberger...I loved the cover and having just watched the Devil Wears Prada I thought I was onto a good thing, but it just didn't amount to much. As one of my friend's pointed out, the Devil Wears Prada is a great chick flick, but does that neccesarily make it a good read?
Personally I found Prada to be a much better film than a book...granted, it was okay, but to me that's all it was. Nothing special. Everyone Worth Knowing was rubbish (Devil Wears Prada under a different name, really) so I just avoided Chasing Harry Winston altogether!
WAGS DIARY - worst book i ever read! i found it insulting to read and got as far as i dont even think the thrid chapter - it really is alwful! If you have no brains or aged about 12 then im sure it is great but actually even as a 12 year old i would never have read that and come to think of it i'm sure many 12 year olds rather do something of interest than read that mind numbingly boring book! i hope and pray that the author does not bring any more books out because in all honesty if she thought that was good and was clearly happy with it to acutally take it to a publishers my god the rest will be appawling. But there is hope for us i suppose if that crap book can get published maybe mine will one day too?
I have this book but haven't read it yet (it looked quite funny). Is it really that bad? Maybe I'll read it today, just to see.
I didn't really like Bergdorf Blondes by Plum Skyes. I finished it, because I refuse to leave a book unfinished. But it was kind of ehh...
I tried to start that, but couldn't really get into it.
i agree pinknic, i didn't even finish lipstick jungle

oh and big love was terrible.
That's how I felt about the Confessions of a Shopaholic books. Despite buying and reading like 3 of them, I was always really annoyed and left wondering why I kept trying to like the series. I also found Lipstick Jungle pretty boring, but I did get through it, and I loved the TV show. Oh, and Everyone Worth Knowing by Lauren Weisberger and felt like I was just re-reading the Devil Wears Prada. I was so mad that she turned down fame and fortune for being a "good friend" in both books actually.
I was so disappointed by "Baby Proof" by Emily Giffin. So so loved her "Something Borrowed" & "Something Blue", but Baby Proof fell flat.
I liked Baby Proof. I think part of it was that I read Baby Proof and then the Somthing books. I did feel like if I had read them in the oposite order I would have been disapointed by Baby Proof
