The Bloggers With The Most To Say

I'm a big fan of the "Sloppy First" books by Megan McCafferty. I also liked both Bridget Jones novels. I've read the first "Shopaholic" book. I've started reading "Bitter Is the New Black" by Jen Lancaster...

Are there any other good series' that you know about and would recommend?

Meg Cabot has a few good ones, especially the Boy Next Door series ... the books are written in email format, but once you get used to that, they're very entertaining. The other Shopaholic books are fun reads as well.
I love Meg Cabot's chick lit books... the e-mail format let's you see what everyone is thinking which is fun - and they go very fast!
All the Shopaholic books are great - I love Sophie Kinsella's work!
I don't know if I'll be going to see the movie though. From the trailers I've seen it looks like they've changed the story too much.
I know! WHY WHY WHY is it set in NYC? That book NEEDS to be set in London!
I love the Shopaholic books! And everything else by Sophie Kinsella.
What!?! Is the movie going to be set in New York? Impossible! In one of the follow ups she going to be living in NY, are they going to let her move to London instead?

Haven't seen the trailer yet, didn't know the movie was that far.
I think the movie is a mix of the first two books. And maybe even part of the third, becuase there's a sence in the trailer where she hugs Suze in a wedding dress. So we'll see. I'm somewhat nervous, but still planning on seeing it
marian keyes is awesome. she's irish, and pretty well-kow here, but dunno how successful or famous she is beyond that.... they're just a little bit funnier and cleverer than usual books. a treat to read. especilly her first few. her personality comes through and you finish the book lusting after the leading man, and REALLY wishing you knew HER too! :)

her most recent one was desperately sad and... "hard-hitting" for lack of a better word. trying to tackle tougher issues i guess?
Yes! Marian Keyes is brilliant! My fave book of hers is Further Under the Duvet - it's not fiction but it's still hilarious!
I read a short story in a collection of chick lit by Marian Keyes called "Wishful Thinking" and it was so wonderful and amazing to read that I had to go out and start looking for full-length books from her! :)
Oh, I forgot to mention the "Big Stone Gap" books by Adriana Trigiani. They're SO GOOD!
I have to go with Twlight and the Shopaholic series as well. Emily Giffin has her Something Blue series which is good as well.
