I've loved Chick Lit for quite a long time now, but one of the first Chick Lit novelists I ever fell in love with was Emily Giffin after reading her Something Borrowed and Something Blue books. So I was thrilled to hear that they'll be turning the books into movies starring Ginnifer Goodwin and John Krasinski: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0491152/
What do you think of the casting? I'm a little nervous after the Confessions of a Shopaholic movie nearly ruined Becky Bloomwood for me, but am remaining cautiously optimistic :)
Ha I just posted this on the discussion board without even reading that you had a forum on it. I am looking forward to it but not sure if I agree about casting Kate Hudsen as Darcy or Colin Farrell as Marcus. They just don't seem to fit the picture I conjured those characters up to be in my head! I will defintiely see it when it comes out though :)
I'm so excited about this! I loved the Something Blue & Borrowed books, I'm not sure about the male role but willing to give it a chance. When a book is turned into a move I either love or hate it.. the only ones I would say that have been completely successful in doing so is PS I Love You and The Notebook!
That's awesome!!! I love Emily Giffin's books so much (and I adore John Krasinski) so I'm excited to hear about this. I just finished "Heart of the Matter" and I really liked it!
I love both Ginnifer (she's actually how I pictured Rachel) and John Krasinski is YUMMY - although I'm not sure about the person playing Dex.... (Topher Grace was who I pictured. lol)
