The Bloggers With The Most To Say

Just wondering how many of us here knit, how long have you been doing it and what got you started?
I got started about four years ago, was sat at home bored one day and decided to knit a scarf, then gave it up because I didn't know anyone else who knitted.

Started up again when I joined a knitting group and made quite a few things, I've got a page on Ravelry if anyone is interested.
moved house in September and have been busy knitting a basketweave baby blanket till i can get back into the local group scene.

I'll attach some pics of my work.

So, lets hear from the rest of you!!

I took a class with my cheerleading sponser in high school. She wanted to learn, and didn't want to go alone! I'm staying with my parents for the Holidays and found my knitting stuff in my old closet... definitely going to keep me busy the next couple of weeks. :)
LOVE LOVE LOVE to knit!!! Learned from my mother in HS, and didn't really continue it. I suppose college got in the way. Then started up again watching my MIL knit socks. Now socks are my favorite! Check out my blog The Knew Knitter. What's your Rav user name?
i learned to knit but its someitmes really awkward i've never knit a project but i do crochet a lot.
hi i knit. im better at crochet but i do both. currently working on a sweatervest for my sister. it was supposed to be a bolero but i made a mistake. no worries though. i learned when i was ten. been at it ever since.
I knit and crochet! I've been knitting since age 9 and just started crocheting a few months ago. I'm way better at crocheting.
I love to knit!! (I write that as I have my knitting project sitting right in front of me) I learned with a few girls in college freshman year, it was too cold to want to leave our dorm a lot, so we decided to get some knitting supplies and learn! I'm not very good, but I am improving slowly! I'm doing Christmas gifts for my family too, which hopefully they will love!!
I love knitting and crochet - been knitting since I was about eight or nine, but only taught myself to crochet earlier this year, so I've been doing more of that lately than knitting. I find them both really relaxing, and satisfying when you end up with something at the end!
