The Bloggers With The Most To Say

I've been blogging about dating since August and I've had my fair share of "disclosure" nightmares (as chronicled at www.katrichterwrites.wordpress.com).  I've never used anyone's name or personal details but some of the guys I've gone out with have stopped seeing me specifically because of my blog.  Has anyone else run into this problem?  Any creative solutions?

Yikes, that's really harsh! Stop seeing you because of your blog, really? I have a feeling that might be a bullet dodged anyway.

I have had some problem with people I'm dating reading my blog. I also never use real names and I leave out incriminating details. It's lead me to write more in hindsight- maybe a month after they've happened- which has pluses and minuses.

On the flip side, I once had a guy confess on a second date that he had internet stalked me using the last name from my voicemail, found my blog- not an easy feat actually, and said that he read the whole thing and it made him like me even more. This made me never want to see him again, and in fact I didn't.

Here's a post where I talk about a break-up and how the guy found my blog. http://newyorkcliche.wordpress.com/2009/11/25/break-it-down-now/ I also know the guy I'm currently writing about is reading- he told me- but we broke up and I don't care if he reads!
