The Bloggers With The Most To Say

So...Ok. I'm new here, and I (of course, being the obsessive over-acheiver that I am) have decided to start (egads) a discussion.

Basically, what's the worst date you've been on? I know what mine is - my first boyfriend told me he wanted to take me out to dinner. I got all excited about it, put make up on and got dolled up.

He took me to Hooters with his friend.

His friend, being the complete jackass that he is, decided to insult the waitress' intelligence every five minutes...to her face. I sat through it (I was a meek little thing back then...at the age of 18), but I gave him (the boyfriend) hell afterwards.

I also threatened his manhood.

We never went to Hooters again.

So, what's your worst dating experiance?

Worst date ever, hands down - right here
hmm. "Gym guy," is what I call him...this guy was after me from day one of the joining the gym. After weeks/months of inviting me to his Boot camp he ran--i thought he was just trying to sell me--and making coy jokes, he got the nerve to ask me out. I said no, but should have never done what I did: Texted him. I gave him my number out of the niceness of my heart not thinking he would get creepy and annoying real quick (should have known, he kind of already was, but I like to give people the benefit of the doubt).

Cut to the next day, text messages don't stop--not for days. It would be okay if he were my bf, but he wasn't. Too much talking. Annoying. Continually asking me out but I was busy. Even if I ignored him or didn't respond for hours he would still text.

Finally he mentions his friends band was playing a show in which i was of course down for (that's my thing). When it came around to it, i hadn't heard from him in a few days so i texted him to see what was going on--my friends wanted to plan something with me so I was wiggling out of it--no response.

That night around 4 or 5 he calls me from an unknown number--booby trapped--and asks if our DATE is still on (his phone broke). Then after telling him I made new plans because he was MIA, he begged "jess don't bail on me, i already have tickets...."

UGH. So i went because I felt like an ass. To my surprise--not really--he was just as annoying as I thought he would be. Not my type--into artsy, writer, creative types--had nothing in common, and his friends were all way more fun than him.

He kept mentioning how it was our first date, almost kissed my head at one point, kept grabbing my hair and tousling it, and got a little too buzzed for comfort. Insert the chills right here.

Then after the end of the night, he said "So I think I deserve a kiss after tonight right?"

HELL NO.

After I was dropped off at my car he got out with me, he still begged for it. "Come on, not even the cheek?"

The funny thing was, there was no way it was a date since people were around constantly, and i treated him like a friend. Arms crossed...friendly behavior..."buddy," the whole time. He didn't get it.

Lesson learned.

One of the worst dates...

Ahh, the joys of dating! Haha.
