Paint Palette

Loving the current colors in my house (I actually wrote about the palette recently: http://www.merrypad.com/2010/12/27/my-house-my-paint-palette/) but do any of you have thoughts about adding pumpkin or pale turquoise to the mix? I'm thinking about adding it secondarily in throws and pillows, but I had an idea to paint the bottom edge of each windowsill in pumpkin too, and I am on the fence about that.

Any experience hand-painting the exterior vinyl trim around windows? 

Thoughts appreciated.
