The Bloggers With The Most To Say

Permalink Reply by Cara Guillaume on March 20, 2011 at 1:52pm I've only been on the East Coast for 3 yrs and hate the cold weather. Three things get me through it:
1. I find winter clothing that I love and that keeps me warm...it keeps me sane and actually ensures that I will enjoy bundling up.
2. Seek out warm/cold-weather drinks for comfort on the days when the winter really irritates you. Mine is Starbucks Caramel Apple Spice It makes my coldest days just a little warmer.
3. Keep yourself busy. Don't allow yourself to sit and think about the cold. When you have stuff to do you aren't thinking as much about the dreary cold. If you sit at home with nothing to do, you give yourself time to dwell in the bleak and that in turn makes you feel just as cold and bleak.

Permalink Reply by Amiee on November 23, 2011 at 12:47am I've lived in NH all my life and I HATE the cold! I usually buy some new sweaters every winter, since I love staying warm and its nice to treat myself. Buy a winter coat that is warm and that you love so wearing it isn't a drag. And buy some cuddly blankets to cuddle up with for days when you are just hanging out at home watching TV. And furry boots are a must!
