The Bloggers With The Most To Say

So I'm working on a project right now for prospective/incoming students. The idea is to give them a list of terms and phrases that are key to know when moving to (and living in) Portland.

Things like:
The Willamette River (pronounced Wil-LAM-et) divides the town east to west.
Where the Free Rail Zone is.
Nicknames of Portland.
Where "The Sunset" and "The Couv" are.

FAQs as it were. I've Googled as much as I can and now I need your help.

What else should students know before they arrive, while they're looking for a place to live and figuring out how to maneuver around PDX.

If you live in or are from the PNW email me if you have an ideas/suggestions.
Thnx!

Hey Ms. Morgan-

In my Twitter Stream (Tallbrewnette) I provide a semi daily terminology of the Northwest.  #NWGirlTranslations. There are quite a few that aren't hashed, but I post them fairly regularly. :)

 Hope this helps. ;)
