I'm not Australian I was born in Vermont but I lived in Tasmania my elementary school years, attended a Friends school there, also lived in Sydney from age siX months to three years of age or so.
Nice one cooper. That totally justifies your membership! Tassy's a very pretty part of the world :)
So I wanted to begin this group to dispel the myth that many, or in fact any, Australians are like Steve Irwin. In saying that I don't wish to show disrespect to a man who managed to be transformed from mocked and reviled in life, to a hero in death. Props for that...he did his thing... that's all good. But me? I don't wear khakis, have never said crikey! and I don't wrestle crocodiles... although I think that would be a mad skill to have.
What I do, is live in Melbourne, study, work and enjoy the many excellent bars here with my friends. Anyone else in the group care to introduce?

Out, i mean, with friends and family. Good old Dubs doesnt have all that much to do, so its mainly going to the pub, going for a dance, have BBQ's, that type of thing.
