The Bloggers With The Most To Say

hey guys!  i find that one of the things that really helps me is when i start getting excited about the progress i've already made.  it helps me stay motivated and on top of things. plus it's just nice to take some time and appreciate what we've already done!  so stop in and take a moment to talk about your positive progress!!

here are mine:  lost 20 pounds!  i can FINALLY do push ups.  like ten of them... still working on doing more.  and i can sprint for 2 minutes straight and i never used to be able to.  i feel good to find that i'm getting stronger and have more stamina.

Wow, 20 pounds?!! That is AWESOME! Way to go, Kristy!

Here are a couple of things I'm pretty happy about: I've lost 7 pounds. I am starting to see definition in my calves, which used to be really flabby and weak. I finally see a visible change in my midsection, including smaller love handles and a teensy bit of definition in my abs. My asthma has been SO much less severe, and I can make it through an entire hour-long spin class without feeling like my lungs will explode. Yay!

This is a great idea; thanks for starting this topic! I'm excited to see what other people have to say.
hi tabitha! thanks for sharing!! that's awesome, it's wonderful seeing those changes in your body and then feeling them as well, as with your asthma getting better. congrats!! glad you like the topic also. =)
awesome about the asthma!

the other stuff is good, too ;)
woot for push ups and 20 pounds! i used to be able to do push ups, but my old lady arms aren't as cooperative these days :)

i think my awesome progress list would be: 1) i have last over 48 pounds in the last year. 2) i've been training for the susan komen 3day for the cure for a month, and haven't had a single shin splint flare up or twisted ankle. 3) i've stopped pretending my ass fits in a certain size. now i buy clothes for the size i am, not the size i remember being... i think #3 would be my biggest accomplishment: accepting my body for all it's goods and bads. i'm no longer treating weight loss like a war, which keeps me more positive. it also helps me put my setbacks in perspective so i'm less inclined to just give it all up over one bad week

great topic :D
Here is my latest update. :) RIP My Fat Ass. HERE

Wow that's amazing. :D So far since June of 2009 I have lost 40 pounds by just changing the amount of food I eat and my activity level. It has been coming off slowly but hey it's coming off. I haven't really noticed much of a difference, but people tell me all the time that I look better.

I have noticed that I have stronger arms, legs, and can run longer distances without stopping. :)

I've lost 43 lbs since June 2010! I finally fit into regular clothes and am a size 10 or 12 pants! Go me. LOL and go YOU! All of you! Congrats on your accomplishments, every one of them deserves a reward. Enough cheesy shit, but I AM serious. Losing weight is HARD!

Awesome job! Keep up the good work!

I've lost 60lbs. and went from a size 16 to an 8 in the last year and a half. I've stopped losing weight since I'm getting pretty muscular but I keep losing inches! I used to get winded walking up stairs and now I'm an avid runner and I'm working on becoming a personal trainer. I love the feeling I get when I fit into new pants and can actually SEE my abs starting to poke out from under my fat. :)
