Oh, so we DO have to justify their awesomeness now? alright. well... to start off, they are WAY cooler than any other animal I can think about. If I would befriend one, I believe I would by default become the coolest kid in the neighborhood. Remember that mean fat boy who threatens to set his dog on you...? well, I'd set my Raptor on that m-fucker and problem solved!

It's also way cooler to have a velociraptor than some lame cat/hamster/bird/whatever nerdy pet (with the only exception being retarded dogs, I have sympathy for them...) and yeah... more unique so to say.

for the nr1: I think it is truly amazing how omnipresent they are all over the Internet. Really. In every cool forum, community, portal... you name it, it all comes down to these little bastards.
