Jewish Geography on a Blog?

The first topic of conversation that comes up when I spot someone else with a chamsa necklace, last name ending in stein, berg, man, or witz is who knows someone from Camp ____ that went to college with _____ who was the other person's sibling's roommate. 

Anyone have that virtually yet?  I've experienced it on Facebook, but not via a blog...
