The Bloggers With The Most To Say

Hello, fellow bloggers living abroad! I was curious how (or if) you celebrated Halloween abroad.I grew up in the U.S. and live in Spain. I love love love Halloween, so it was interesting to see how differently they celebrate it here! Here's my blog post about it

If you celebrated, was it with local friends or friends from your home country? What did you do, and was it really different from what you would've done at home?

If you didn't celebrate Halloween, what other holidays are a big deal in your country but aren't celebrated where you're living now?  And what different holidays does your abroad country observe?

I'd love to hear about your experiences! Holidays are a fun way to understand a bit more about the local culture. Let's get some discussion going!

I'm from the US and living in France, but I was in Hungary for Halloween.  My friend wasn't really into Halloween, neither, it seemed, was Budapest.  I wore a costume anyway.  It was a fun night, even if it wasn't much of a proper "Halloween"

(and I obviously blogged about it as well...)

Check out my blog post "la angelita" for my take on Halloween in Madrid :)

I had a small Halloween celebration with my friends in Japan:

I'm working in Korea. It wasn't really celebrated here. The ex-pats will have costume parties and Korean friends will join in...but it's definitely not a huge thing
