The Bloggers With The Most To Say

I didn't see this discussion on here yet and thought I'd start it, as it's always neat to hear how couples came to be!

For my husband and I, our story actually goes back to when we were in 8th grade.

I actually wrote a 2 part blog post on "our story," with part 1 telling how we met and part 2 being about the evolution of our friendship and eventual relationship.

How I Met My Husband, part 1
How I Met My Husband, part 2

Myspace! Super corny, eh!?
My mom and Matt worked together at a hardware store and eventually he transferred to the same college I was at and it went from there!
He came to our church to help our church lead a youth drama. I was in it and we started talking during practices. Cute right?
We met and became friends through doing a couple of years of youth ministry together. At the time he was interested in another girl and I was interested in another guy - we essentially became each other's "love counsellor", trying to help hook each other up with the person we thought we wanted to be with. Once I actually started dating the guy I was interested in, Nathan told me I had to break up with him. We started dating and 6 months later were engaged :D
Met my husband at an orientation session for a mutual workplace out in the oil sands of Alberta. He was bold. I liked that. We've been inseparable since then. It's been five years.
I recently wrote a blog about how my husband and I got together...I had tons of requests for the story to be written down for the world to see. Please don't judge me after reading it.....I Stalk Because I Care
Haha, that post was hilarious. Nothing like going out of your way to get the guy that you want. Nothing wrong with that. You proved that too.   And love your wedding picture with your hand in the air, Like Hell Yes I got'em.
We both wound up at the bar with a mutual friend (how very 20-something). I was drinking more than he was because he had to work the next day and I didn't. I made a fool of myself by making a very unmistakable pass at him. But somehow he found it in his heart to meet me again the next night and the next night and the next... I guess an obnoxious, irresponsible 22 year old is endearing. What can I say? 3 years later he still likes me for some reason. Haha!
I met my husband in a Yahoo! Chat Room, met him in Vegas 2 months later, moved to Reno with him after spending a week in Vegas with him, and 6 years later we finally got married.
Met Kurt at a leadership training program we both attended at 17. Totally fell in love with him, but no one knew for a solid year. The summer after I met him, he told me he liked me and wanted to pursue a relationship... I was elated, to say the least. We got to know each other over long phone calls that summer while we were apart, started dating the moment school started back up the next fall, discussed marriage within weeks, then got married a little while later :) When you know, you know!
High School Sweethearts <3. August marks our 10 year anniversary of being together {married for 4 years December}.
We sat next to each other in 7th grade English. We dated a few months our senior year in high school and got back together for good our sophomore year of college. I really married my best friend. =)
