Hoss: Mutt of many breeds. Rottweiler, Mastiff, Lab, Rhodesian Ridgeback, Chow and maybe more....
Winnie: Goldendoodle. Golden retriever and poodle.
Ashlie, that is so neat! I used to have a boxer named Hoss. I always got asked how we came up with the name. He had huge paws and we knew it was going to be a Hoss!
This is Cooper, my one-year-old coonhound mix. He's a mommy's boy also...and likes to wear a sweater when it snows. He LOVES rawhides (chewies), and hates car rides. Cooper drools like a leaky faucet when he's nervous (in the car); and dances when he's excited.

Oh yay! I love to talk about my dogs. I have a one year old, feisty as hell miniature dachshund with an attitude. She's black with brown eyebrows and paws. She loves to wear sweaters b/c she's cold all the time. That, and she loves to chew the fuzz off of tennis balls. A handful!

My boyfriend, B, also has a beautiful siberian husky. He has eyes that are blue but look white in the sunlight and he is gorgeous. He loves to "talk" (howl) and is a jealous 4 year old. He hates it when B pays me attention and not him.
Because a (doggie) mama ALWAYS has pictures on hand...

I'm a professional dog trainer and have three dogs.

Cleo is an 8 year old shep/husky mix (the black dog) She's a reformed resource guarder, and she would rather snuggle her food bowl than me some days!

Columbia is a six year old siberian husky. He's an awesome dog - great with other dogs, great with people, super sweet. If I could clone him, I would. We neutered him, but I'm sad that we did because he would make great puppies. I'm not a big fan of Sue Sternberg, but I think she was right when she said it's a shame to neuter all the pet dogs belonging to responsible owners, because who does that leave breeding? I worked at the Calgary Humane Society for a long time, though, and I think I would still neuter anyway. Probably a discussion for another place.

Tasha, my first dog ever, is 13 years old and some kind of border collie mix, we think. She had severe separation anxiety and dog-dog aggression (she and Cleo are kept separate) but I love her so much. She's a sweetheart, one of the sweetest dogs you'll ever meet, as long as you don't have fur.

A great dane named capone who thinks he's a blanket loving chihuahua.

there's an album of him and his favorite place, my bed, on myspace.
www.myspace.com/crawlingthecarpet
click on pics
and then the album titled "me and capone"
or something.

but i don't suggest this. why?
cuz it's a very personal photo op with me and my dog in bed together.
am i suggesting a sexual overtone?
no.
but you should be ashamed of such things. ;)

I am the proud mama of two pups! Penny Lane is a boxer/shepherd/pit bull mix and is about 2 and a half. Dodger (as in the Artful) is only 15 months and a pit bull/ black lab mix. Both are a handful, since they're so young! Penny was rescued from an abusive home and we've had her for a year and half, so she's a bit skittish around men she doesn't know and always on guard duty. But she loves her home and has become quite a loving, independent dog. Dodger was given to the pound because he got too big for the family who originally adopted him. He is the most affectionate dog I have ever met and a crazy little cuddle bug (he absolutely refuses to sleep in his bed, instead he sleeps curled up next to me every night). Here's a pic of my kids!

My dog Rocco is a half bassett hound/half rottweiler mutt. I've had him since he was 8wks old and he'll be 4 this May. He's 90 lbs but he thinks he's a lap dog.

I have the most adorable little beagle named Stella. My husband and I finally agreed on a breed, I went on google and searched "beagle + my city" and she popped up. Stella is a rescue dog and came with some issues, for example she hated men. It took awhile for her to warm up to my husband, but now she thinks he the best thing since sliced bread. She loves us both, but she's my little girl.
Hm. My mini dachshund pup is actually very timid with men aside from his dads. We've had him for a few months now, seeing my dad on a regular basis and he still drops to the ground whenever he comes close. Any suggestions?
A demon-like chihuahua who acts like a grumpy old man when he's tired and the sweetest lab/chow mix known to man. He just wants to be everyone's best friend.
