Introduce your nerdy self!

I'm JB. I'm a nerd girl obsessed with television, reading, sequential art, and sometimes film. I cried when Farscape and Firefly were both cancelled, and rejoiced mightily with Serenity and the new Farscape Web Series were announced. I like comic books, but not exclusively. I love playing board games like Game of Thrones (think Risk, but based off the book series) or Dune (also based off the book series). My day is spent blogging, Digging, and reading e-books. I have played WoW, but I don't anymore. I have had several discussions, particularly with my nerdy roomies, about which Star Trek series is better and the real-life problems with creating transporters in real life.

ZOMG! Yeah, that's how exciting it is to find another Whedonite! I can't help but blog about the 'verse at least once a week. A bit obsessed am I. (Star Wars, too, do I like!)

Hi I'm a nerdy girl. I blog, I tweet. I'm mainly a nerd about English (especially poetry or Jane Austen) , but I love BSG, Buffy, Firefly and Serenity, Angel...or anything Joss has done. I'm slowly trying to verse myself in comics and more sci fi (hence the BSG).

I am and always have been a nerd, complete with glasses that I need for seeing.  I have/have had so many nerdy interests over my life including: reading for fun, crossword puzzles, Sudoku, Kakuro (Sudoku's nerdier cousin), Star Wars, Rubiks cubes, logic problems, internet puzzle hunts, flash games, RPGs, video games in general, a bizarre love of all things zombie, and most recently Doctor Who.

Hi, I'm Laura. I'm a Quality Assurance nerd by day and a computer, comic book, video game nerd by night. I am obsessed with Batman and Gotham Villains, I read too much LifeHacker and Geekologie, and RPG is my favorite video game genre. I blog here, tweet (publicly) there... let's face it, I'm basically married to my computer. I just joined 20sb this week so I am hoping to make lots of friends (nerdy or not)!

I'm Brittany.  I'm obsessed with reading (from Jane Eyre to Something Borrowed to Kiss the Girls to Twilight- I will read basically anything...except I never really got into sci-fi) and basically everything else that increases my knowledge.  I have a degree in psychology so I like dissecting things (trying to go on to graduate school for occupational therapy so I mean this both metaphorically and literally- dissected a sheep brain & thought it was the coolest assignment ever).  I like corny puns (I love Pi) and snarkiness (mainly because other people don't realize how rude it is).  My nerd philosophy can basically be summed up like this:

If I like something, I basically LOVE it.  I get super involved and don't care what anything else thinks.  Basically, I lack the "stay calm & cool" gene that allows some people to be not nerdy.

Hi nerds!  I'm Sarah, and I have a few nerdy tendencies.  I played Petz when I was little and I'm pretty sure I could still tell you how to change the game files to make different looking petz haha.  I like to keep up with technology, especially smartphones.  I'm also an econ major, which I think earns some major nerd points in a totally different category.

Hi I'm reebit. I'm very new.

What makes me nerdy or geeky? Everything. I am not just one type of geek either. I'm a history geek, love role playing games, reading, writing, video games, and more! I love watching The Weather Channel and I used to imitate them when I was little.  I appreciate science fiction and fantasy of all types [STARGATE!!! that's history and scifi into 1 show ~~drool~~] and I've been into anime though not so much anymore.

So. hi. And I cant wait to discover fellow comrades in geekiness!

Hi, I'm Jamie, and I would like to sum up my nerdiness with a long list of things I love (in no particular order): Final Fantasy, LOST, Battlestar Galactica, Firefly, Breaking Bad, Fringe, Community, Clone High, Arrested Development, The Lost Room (If you've never heard of The Lost Room, it's an AWESOME sci-fi/fantasy mini-series), Stephen King's Dark Tower series, 80's fantasy movies, time travel movies, Blu-rays, action figures, The Nerdist Podcast, Zooey Deschanel, stop-motion animation, point and click adventure games (including those flash games where you have to escape a room), writing, drawing, putting things together (anything creative or constructive I usually enjoy), using a video game's character creation system to make movie and television characters as best as I can...and finally I believe in proper spelling and grammar.

So, yeah, those are my nerd credentials. :D
