Meetup! February 5th
Hello, NYC bloggers!
I volunteered to organize our next meetup, and it's time to iron out details. We're heading to Brooklyn this month -- hey, stop screaming, it's the first stop on the Bedford L and a 3-block walk. YOU CAN DO IT.
Friday night seemed to work pretty well the first time around, so how's 8pm for everyone? This should allow ample opportunity for drinking, plus an easy out for anyone who shows up, feels awkward, and wants to bow out early to "meet some friends at another bar" (even though we all know you're going home to watch Law & Order reruns with your cat. It's cool.)
So, unless there's a rousing chorus of objection, here's the plan:

I'll be there since I organized, but between the impending snow and the fact that I'm kind of sick, I'm not sure how long I'll stick around. All the bloggers I know and/or read have dropped out! Losers. (Do any of the remaining attendees know each other? Yes? Bueller?)
I'll start holding down the fort at the bar at 8pm, possibly in the company of my husband. (If you see a tall, clean-cut guy with a girl who looks like Winnie Cooper from the Wonder Years, that's probably us.) -
