Monthly or Bi-Monthly NYC Meet Up
If we could perhaps make a monthly or bi-monthly meet up a regular thing I think we may get some really great connections / real life friends!
We can even pass the planning responsibilities around. I just did a mini meet up on Dec. 4th 2009. Who wants to plan the next one for January or February?

This sounds interesting. I'm always up for social interaction. One thing that comes to mind is a writing group that I am a part of. It meets every 8-12 days or so, in a random location in the city. For example, the last meeting was in Brooklyn, the next meeting is also in Brooklyn and the following meeting will be at my apartment in the UES. If people are interested in this group, I can get you in touch with the organizer and this will give us a way to not only see each other regularly, but also hang out with other writers. I've been going to the group for 4 1/2 years now and have made some great friends, so of course I recommend it.
Then again, we might just want something to call our own, which I'm also up for. -

That sounds interesting. I wonder if our 20SB meet up's should be more casual first? What do you think? Maybe cafes, bars, restaurant's in the beginning and then when people are more comfortable, opening up our homes. I don't know.

I'm a very big fan of this idea. Based on my work schedule I know I probably won't be able to plan one in the next couple of months, but I would love to hang out. I hate that I missed the last one, but I will try not to a) get sick right before the weekend or b) work until 8pm on a Friday night ever again.

I had a plan.
It was to befriend every New York City blogger and then invite them all out for a happy hour. So i befriended 2 people before I saw there was a New York City group.
Yea, this was one of my lesser thought out plans.
So what happened here peeps? We are overdue? Fire up the taps, alert the bartenders, and lets get our butts in gear! -
