The Bloggers With The Most To Say

I always seem to read more than one book at a time. I don't think that's the best tactic, but I try to read 50 books per year. I fell behind this year and tried reading multiple at a time. I think it took away from the reading experience though.

I'm currently reading: "Unnatural Death Confessions of a Medical Examiner" by Michael M. Baden, M.D. and "Sloppy Firsts" by Megan McCafferty.

Some of my favorites of the last year have been: "Body of Work" by Christine Montross, "Stiff" by Mary Roach, "A Dirty Job," "Bloodsucking Fiends," and "You Suck: A Love Story" by Christopher Moore, "Just Checking" by Emily Colas, "Another Day in the Frontal Lobe" by Katrina Firlik.

The unfinished books in my collection: "Haunted" and "Choke" by Chuck Palahniuk, "Spook" by Mary Roach, and "A User's Guide to the Brain" by John J. Ratey, M.D.

Books I'm looking forward to reading: "Dexter in the Dark," "Dearly Devoted Dexter," and "Darkly Dreaming Dexter" by Jeff Lindsay, "The Female Brain" by Louann Md Brizendine, "Straight Up and Dirty: A Memoir" by Stephanie Klein and "Bitter is the New Black : Confessions of a Condescending, Egomaniacal, Self-Centered Smartass,Or, Why You Should Never Carry A Prada Bag to the Unemployment Office" by Jen Lancaster.

Happy reading!

I recently started a project to read through all of the Pulitzer Prize winning novels and am currently working through "Gone With the Wind" by Margaret Mitchell.

But I'm also on the hunt for a copy of "The Westing Game" by Ellen Raskin and "The Phantom Tollbooth" by Norton Juster. They're both awesome books I read when I was in elementary and middle school for classes and sometimes I just feel like being a kid again in what I read.
I'm currently reading 'Let the Great World Spin' by Colum McCann. I'm only about 100 pages into it, but I'm loving it so far. Has anyone read this, or is anyone reading it now? I'd love to hear some thoughts on it!
I'm rereading it right now, too. Makes me realize how much funnier the books are than the films!
I'm currently reading "A Wizard of Earthsea" by Ursula K. Le Guin. Just two chapters left. Still haven't made up my mind about what to read next.
I'm currently reading Harry Potter.  I know, I'm a little behind.  I finished 1 and 2 within a week and a half and have quickly moved on to three.
I'm rereading three right now (I started reading them when they first came out). Most people read them quickly! It's never too late to get into HP :D
I agree! Never too late. The first books are good and very quick to read.  The last ones are much better. Enjoy!

Reading The Abstinence Teacher, Tom Perrotta.

Not really enjoying it, I've been on and off reading it since Christmas. I'm finding the characters really annoying.

I'm currently reading The House of Tomorrow by Peter Bognanni -- interesting book so far! Lots of interesting Futurism ideas with a very unique and YOUNG protag.
I am currently reading "The Girl who Played with Fire" by Stieg Larsson

I am currently reading Ursula, Under by Ingrid Hill. I am really liking this book, especially the parts about her ancestors.
