The Bloggers With The Most To Say
On July 11, 2011 I'm launching my debut book titled Are You My Life?: Searching for Self, Faith, and a Freaking Job! And I would love to send bloggers a free copy (and a few to giveaway) for them to possibly post a review on their site and/or on Amazon.
So I'm wondering - what's your thoughts on sending fellow bloggers a free ebook version for review vs a paper back.
Pros - Cheaper, Faster, Saves Trees. Can probably send out more.
Cons - Potential for bloggers to feel slighted. Less buy in. Might not enjoy the book as much in ebook format.
Thoughts? Thank you.
Paul

Also, can you send out both? E-books for those with compatible e-readers and the real thing for those who don't?
Permalink Reply by Paul Angone on May 5, 2011 at 4:17pm Thanks Kelli for the super nice note and great advice. Yes putting both options on the table is a great one, that way I give the blogger the choice. Very smart.
So yes I'd love for you to do a review. That would be awesome! So can I send you an e-version or is paperback better? I'll probably start sending them out in June.

And I'd be happy with an e-book :D
p.s. e-books can be sent across easily to other countries!
Permalink Reply by Paul Angone on May 30, 2011 at 12:16am I'd love to do a review too! Your website looks terrific! Although I'm one of the few who hasn't got aboard the e-book bandwagon as yet, I much prefer real life books!!

Permalink Reply by Erin McNaughton on September 12, 2011 at 1:24am I think having an option for both e-books and paperback would be best because not everyone has an e-reader.
I would love to read and review your book, as well, although I would need a paperbook because I don't own an e-reader yet.
