The Bloggers With The Most To Say

My top 5 movies that never get old would have to be...
1. Speed
2. Love Actually
3. Newsies
4. The Sandlot
5. Fried Green Tomatoes

Ah. I love them all. And so many more, but those are ultimately my top 5.

I can watch these ALL THE TIME...

1) The Wedding Singer
2) Goonies
3) While You Were Sleeping
4) Beauty & the Beast (yeah, Alexandra!)
5) Swingers
1- Sound of music
2- Love Actually
3- Legally Blonde
4- Four weddings and a funeral
5- Princess Bride
How did I know that Speed would be at the top of your list, Katelin? Hahaha. I suppose my top five would be...

1. Bridget Jones's Diary
2. Pride & Prejudice (yes, the one with Keira Knightly, who knows why)
3. Love Actually
4. Father of the Bride (which makes me WEEP)
5. Gladiator (had to throw a history flick in there)

Obviously, I really enjoy romantic comedies and...romantic comedies. And sometimes a movie where Russel Crowe beats the snot out of a bunch of men and tigers. This was hard though. Newsies and Eternal Sunshine would be up there too. There are probably a lot of other movies that I'm forgetting I love...and it also depends on the season. Around the holidays, I LOVE It's a Wonderful Life and White Christmas.
Love Actually
My Sassy Girl
Spirited Away
Closer
The Incredibles

This list changes often though. :D
I don't know if I have five, but this is what comes to mind:
"Unbreakable"
"Galaxy Quest"
"Home Alone"
"Peter Pan"
"Back to the Future" (all of 'em)
"Fiddler on the Roof"

Other re-watchables:
The Little Mermaid, The Goonies, Sabrina, The Sandlot, Sound of Music, While You Were Sleeping, About a Boy, Braveheart, and many more.
1. Clue
2. Eternal Sunshine
3. Wedding Crashers
4. How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days
5. Drop Dead Gorgeous

1 and 2 are my fave movies of all time. 3 and 4 are on my fave movies list, but not at the top of it. 5 isn't even on my fave movies list, but I watch it over and over for some reason. Easy to just watch I guess.

Billy Madison used to be on the list, but I haven't watched it in a long time.
I have watched these over and over again. Sometimes I take them on the road when I travel to un-fun cities:

1. Love Actually
2. Cold Mountain
3. Sweet Home Alabama
4. Devil Wears Prada
5. Pride and Prejudice (Yeah, Virginia!)
1. Full Metal Jacket (the 1st half, which I consider a separate movie from the 2nd half...but I digress)
2. Chasing Amy...the most under-rated Kevin Smith film
3. Cidade de Deus.....amazing cinematography
4. Old School.....stupid humor
5. Love Actually....yeah, but it was really well done!

These seem to change monthly....I need to break it down to categories, 5 just isn't fair!!
This is tough but based on recent viewings, my list is below:
1. Love Actually (especially around the holidays)
2. Stranger than Fiction
3. Casino
4. Bridget Jones Diary
5. Sense & Sensibility (the Ang Lee version - no BBC for me!)

Even if these movies are on cable I have to watch them too, even though I own the DVDs.

1.  Lost in Translation

2.  Breakfast at Tiffany's

3.  Kids

4.  Pretty Persuasion

5.  Selena

Good call on Pretty Persuasion. I love that movie, but it seems like one that NO ONE ever talks about. So underrated. Lost in Translation is also infinitely rewatchable. :)

1. Ghostbusters (1 and 2)

2. My Big Fat Greek Wedding

3. Beetlejuice

4. Clue

5. Weird Science

(Honorable Mention: "Die Mommie Die!" , "Hocus Pocus" , "Love Actually" , "Reefer Madness" , "Saved!" , "Wet Hot American Summer" , "History of the World: Part 1" , "Robin Hood: Men in Tights" , "Hamlet 2" , "A Dirty Shame" )
