I'll start by saying I've been living in Philly for 6 years now. I have lived in many different areas like Art Museum area, South, West, and soon moving to North. I came for college and now work here, but I'll admit that it isn't what I expected. I've grown to love the sleepy city and it's close enough to my family in CT, but far enough too! I try and incorporate some Philly spots into my blog, so check it out if you have the time This is Dating (?)
I came to Philly for college 9 years ago and never left. I now love it and really consider it my home. Check me out here. I'm just getting started. www.andjustwhenyouthought.blogspot.com
I've lived in Philly for about 8 months, but am originally from Buffalo, NY. When I first moved here, I worked as a go-go dancer in South Philly but soon became a full-blown stripper out in the North East. As much as I miss Buffalo, I prefer it here and spend way too much time drinking in Philly bars on my nights off.
Hello all!

I came out to the Philly burbs about 4 years ago for college and moved into the city when I graduated last May. Im originally from Brooklyn. Philly and I have a love-hate relationship to say the least...
hello! I've been living in Philly for almost 6 years now. For a while I lived up in East Falls, but these days I'm calling Rittenhouse home. Couldn't be happier with this city and the fantastic view of west philly off of my 15th floor fire escape.
Yo! Killadelphia Filthadelphia Philadelphia Philly! I love this city. Born and raised in Ne and got to say no other place compares. Glad this group exists. The seasons, the sports, the night life and the people seem to get only more interesting as time rolls on. The music scene and art world we have here is hardly comparable anywhere else.
I am Jane. I'm a transplant. I've been here for a little over a year. I'm from upstate New York. I've really sarcastic, kinda cranky, but nice on the inside.
Hi! I'm Lalanav, also lawyer.ed...I'm a recent Philadelphia transplant. I was born in NYC, raised partially in north Jersey and partially in central...and did all my schooling in NJ. Then, I went to Villanova for law school, and after graduating moved to center city! I've officially lived IN the city since June 2008, but started at Nova in 2005 and have worked in the city each summer since (and will start working full time there in September of this year). I'm in love with it...I've always been an NYC girl (always 'the city' in my heart), but after having worked here and now lived here, I love it just as much. I love dogs, cherries, rambling about nonsense, snow, my fiance, dogs, ranting, making up back-stories for the people that walk past my office window regularly, etc. etc. And I love cheesesteaks after a night out with friends :)
Kristina.. I'm sure that you'll find loads of people with Philly advice to offer. If you're into film, I highly suggest checking out the Ritz theatres in Olde City. There are three film art houses in Philly, and you can find times at www.ritzfilmbill.com and they usually have a lot of good movies before they get wide release. Most of my favorite movies (at least recent films) I've seen there.
Hey all!

I just joined 20sb a few days ago.

I live in the burbs of philly (about 30-40 mins away from the city). Lived in center city for three years for college but after graduation not having found a job= moving back home with the 'rents. Love meeting new people and hopefully making some blogging friends.
