The Bloggers With The Most To Say
I'm 27 and I feel like I've been having my Quarterlife Crises since I was 20 and still going strong. If I were a bit older it would be a midlife crisis and honestly I'm starting to think this is going to last right on up to my midlife crisis! Ack.
So, honestly when did you all start freaking out and how long did it last?

Permalink Reply by Caity on March 7, 2011 at 5:16pm I heard that our generation is the generation of the quarterlife crises. So it's normal. I've been going through it since I was 18. And still going strong. Maybe stronger by the day.
I heard it's because we grew up with promises and feelings of entitlement from our baby boomer parents who lived the american dream and passed it on to us, making us believe that we deserved it naturally "you can do it, you can be whatever you want" but in reality- in the real world- there aren't participation ribbons given out to the losers of life.
Permalink Reply by Cary B. on March 20, 2012 at 6:02pm I recently turned 22 and I've had quite a few ups and downs within the last few months, which is totally unlike me (just having the blahs, that is).
I mean, I had basically a breakdown over quite a few things just simply adding up, so I sought on-campus counseling; on the upside, I have an incredibly supportive boyfriend (which I never saw on my horizon, and I wouldn't change that for the world now). And just in general, being excited/incredibly nervous about an upcoming grad school interview. Do I know what I want out of life? Yes... but also, no. It's scary.
