The Bloggers With The Most To Say

I'm feeling more and more like I'm a GROAN UP - someone who is stuck in between Growing and Grown. Does anyone else feel the same?? Feeling like I don't really belong in either world, makes the QLC that more difficult.

I'd say you might be a GROAN UP if...

- The thought of becoming an adult makes you toss up a few Fruity Pebbles
- You see nothing wrong with still eating Fruity Pebbles.
- TGIF once meant something more (oh how I miss thee Boy Meets World)
- At the first sight of snow you hope work is cancelled tomorrow
- You can’t believe you’re married
- You can’t believe you’re NOT married
- You still giggle when someone says balls (maybe just a groan up guy thing)

What's your line on what makes you a GROAN UP? Let's hear it!

Hehe, that's good stuff.  I'll have to think about it but I just wanted to say I went to your site and read the sample chapter you had up and commented :)  Can't wait to read the rest & congrats on it!
Awesome! Thanks Marianne...Just saw your comment. So glad you could relate to the dreaded world of temp agencies! Yeah it's been a wild ride working up to the book's release, but an exciting one..

This is very true!

I love Choco Pebbles.  Hm, maybe I should make a purchase sometime soon. :)

Ha! Sweet chocolatey goodness in sweet breakfasty bowl form...what's not to like???

I feel the same way. I go from a professional office to campus and back to a professional office. I often get mistaken as a professor on campus.

I still giggle at "balls" and "fart".

I'm kinda enjoying my QLC; it will make a nice memory.

Nice Amanda...You're so right. It's seems the crux of a good QLC is the paradox of living in two completely different worlds, while not knowing which one is really you. So know the feeling...

And I'm glad there's a girl out there who giggles at balls....

How could someone not...C'mon it's just comedic gold...

I still get called "the girl" at work. And when people walk in the room (I work with teens) they wonder where the adult in the room is. Ah well.
Yes our age definitely seems to be a strike against us in our 20's - and I think especially for woman, or so it seems. Sorry about that from all the men who call you "the girl.."
