Internet Gay chat/dating sites?....

Are they a place to socialise, really expect conversation and a date at the end of it? Or are they Places for men and women to find their next sexual encounter? Are they the next place for older gays to reel in the newly discovered gays and those still not of age? What are they really? These sites and the portrayal of gay people in the media today have made things look as if we are all sex hungry promiscuous hounds that will never settle to be monogamous individuals. Or if worse yet, inferior emotionally and socially as we from year to year are swept under the carpet until a new story line makes it cool to me gay again.
