I'm very interested in getting into politics someday. Can I ask how you got involved in that? Whats your background in?

whoops - sorry Laura - this slipped under the radar!  I started out offering to volunteer for a local politician and he ended up offering my a job - it has all just snowballed from there.  My suggestion would be to join the party that suits you best and start networking.

 

I've got two degrees - Arts and Education - so neither are specifically targeted at politics or media.  Let me know if you have any other Q's!

I graduated college in May and am working my first “real” job. I’m a marketing assistant at a manufacturing company. On the side I’m also I’m the community relations director for a nonprofit and I do bookkeeping for a management company.

I'm a Community Manager for Bizzy, a local recommendation engine that helps people find places to eat, shop and play. Funny enough my degree is in graphic design but after a years with my nose in photoshop I discovered I wanted a more social job.

I just recently hung up my dancing shoes as a ballroom dance instructor.  Now, I just got a job working at a prestigious University as an online enrollment counselor.  From the dance floor to a cubicle...this should be interesting, but I'm excited!!

work in an extremely busy ob/gyn office in Indianapolis. My main job title is Medical Assistant, but I'm also a Scribe (working directly with the doctor).
