The Bloggers With The Most To Say

Alright all you Southwestern bloggers, let's get this group started! First and foremost, please do tell us where you're from, or where you're currently living, or interested in living, etc. We southwestern bloggers don't have many numbers to represent us, so let's unite! I'll get us started.

I'm from Albuquerque, New Mexico. Born and raised, and still currently a resident. Unlike most of my peers growing up, I love it here. What can I say? I love the desert, I love the mountains, but most of all, I love the food! Nowhere else can I find green chile like I can here in NM. What else do I love about NM? The culture, the people, the architecture, the diversity, and the laid back pace of life. I'm NM core, and proud of it. :)

So, who's next?

I really love Flagstaff, and don't mind the rest of the state as long as it's in the cooler months...
Hi Phil! I am Adrienne... I live in Albuquerque, NM! I did live in Colorado for three years, but back in Albuquerque, teaching 2nd grade!
Yay for Albuquerque! I've been temporarily kidnapped by California for the duration of graduate school. Only one year to go! I miss Burque a lot and am so excited to be visiting again in May. :)
I live in the northern-most part of Utah (30 minutes from Idaho — ack! just kidding — mostly) but I guess I still count as a Southwestern blogger. It's good to find some other people from the region. After a cold winter, I am quite jealous of you folks in a warmer climate. I blog at www.assortedscribbles.org.
I've been to the SLC airport twice in the last year, and holy crap it's cold in that state! But the airport does have a delicious pizza spot with the BEST DEEP DISH PIZZAS EVER. I'd love to see the rest of the state, though, I hear that's all sorts of gorgeousness there.
Albuquerque, NM.
I've been living here for three years...moved right after I finished my MA degree in Vermont, grew up in Massachusetts, needed something completely different and this is it!
Howdy. I'm a Colorado native. Love the state and the southwest. I used to road trip to Albuquerque each month for work when I was in sales. Fun, if long-ish, drive.
Hi all, I'm Laura and I moved to Albuquerque, NM about six months ago. I'm still adjusting to the dry heat. I'm a Texas girl at heart so I like things really humid, however I think the high desert is one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen.

I like to blog about current events, social media and other media-related topics. Sometimes I'll throw in some music and pop culture, too. Please check out my blog at mediamirage.com -- I'd love to meet you all, too!
Southwest kids, holla.

Born in Phoenix, raised in Phoenix, moved to Chicago, and then moved back to Phoenix like a bad habit I can't kick. In Chicago, I'd routinely forget to completely dry my hair before going outside in mid-January, and my hair would literally freeze inside of my knit cap. So yeah, to hell with that.

Moving back has been odd, though...Phoenix (and Arizona in general) seems to have become a haven for ignorance and hatred in the brief time that I've been away. Musicians are boycotting the entire state, Mexican officials are encouraging citizens not to take vacations here (with good reason), and to declare yourself an "Arizonan" outside of state-lines can get your car keyed or make a man's blood boil, a man who doesn't understand that people like me have such little influence, and hate 1070 as much as everyone else.

PHEW. Hate to get all preachy. All I'm saying is this: it's going to be an odd transition, slipping back into desert life. At least I'll have lots to write about.
Another New Mexico resident here. Living in Santa Fe, but working in (and mostly blogging about) my workplace, which is farther north in the scary part of the state. I haven't met too many 20-somethings in Santa Fe so far!

I love the food, I love (some of) the culture, and it is gorgeous here. Nice to see some other Southwest bloggers!
Sup Everyone?

I'm Rick Griffith 24, moderately good looking, from Seattle. Moved to Scottsdale earlier this year and have to say the weather sure kicks Seattle's ass. I'm a traveler, writer and entrepreneur. I write the blog for www.desertpubcrawls.com and my own at www.LivingBueno.com.

You guys are pretty rad from what I can tell, but I'm sure I'll change my mind once I get to know you better ;)

Hello!! I was born in CA and have lived in a few other parts of the US. I have been living in Phoenix AZ for 10 yrs now! I love it! The amazing sunsets and the fabulous weather (most of the time) I might die if I had to go without the authentic Mexican food you can find in the city! I love our downtown and how it is finally shaping up to be something to brag about :) !! Guess that's it .....
