2010 LA/OC Tweetup?!

A 2009 Meet-Up thread is *soooooooooo* last year.

What do ya say? Anyone wanna get together? I'm in South OC, so I'm all for an Orange County Meet Up, but an LA night might be possible, too...thoughts?

I live in Santa Barbara but was in the LA area for five years before I moved up here. I've been DYING for a meetup because there is NO ONE up here who blogs. I'd definitely be in, assuming the date works out and all. Thanks for suggesting it!

So it sounds like Orange County is the most central location.

I'm biased, for sure.

Would LA-bloggers be willing to commute south?
Would SD-bloggers make the trek North?

The center of the OC is the Irvine/Costa Mesa area. We could meet somewhere inside the Irvine Spectrum (Yardhouse, maybe) or The Gypsy Den -- the swanky, hipster-mecca Costa Mesa Coffeehouse. Another option further North would be Downtown Fullerton.

Thoughts?

I can travel assuming we meet on a weekend. And if any LA blogger wants to carpool, let me know. I have no idea where I'm going 96% of the time.

I haven't heard of Fred 62s, but I've been told I HAVE to go to Skylight books. I've been here for almost three months and I've done so little :(

Oh man! I love 24 hour diners. Waaaaait. I actually think I may have been there for a tweetup. I'm so bad with names, directions, numbers and faces haha.

please no gypsy den... irvine spec is good cuz there's dave n busters too. though from long beach it's like almost 40 mins.
