The Bloggers With The Most To Say

I live in Los Angeles. Like the ACTUAL Los Angeles (right outside downtown LA). I love love love Southern California, and all the culture, weather, and food it has to offer.

But I'm not a native. Originally, I'm from Maui, Hawaii. Please let me stay in the group!

What's your Sunny Southern California connection?

I'm born and raised in Pasadena :)
Same as Katelin, here - and that's interesting we ended up working in the same building.
I've lived out in the San Fernando Valley for fifteen years, I was born in Ventura. There are many things to adore about Los Angeles, however it is founded on an underlying corruption.

“What have we done to the earth? What have we done to our fair sister? Ravaged and plundered and ripped her and bit her; stuck her with knives in the side of the dawn, and tied her with fences and dragged her down.”

Hey All!

I am new to this group and fairly new to blogging. I currently live in what is snotily (is that a word) called Beverly Hills Adjacent, which really just means not so nice, not so ghetto.
I'm on my third dose of Southern Cali right now. I was born here (before moving to NYC and then London), then I went to high school here (before heading back to NYC for college), and now I'm right back where I started!

And wow am I happy to be back. Today's weather was enough to make me never, ever want to leave...
I'm new to LA, having moved to the SF Valley area for graduate school. I'm liking it, but being from a much smaller city, it's taken a lot of getting used to. :-P
I'm not a native either. I'm originally from Washington State. But, I moved down here for grad school.
Where do you go to grad school?
Ha, love the line about "actual" Los Angeles. I had some friends when I was at school in Oakland who kept saying they were from L.A., and I said, "No, sorry, you're not. You're from the Valley."
I lived in Sierra Madre for 4 yrs. when I was little, moved back here for grad school in Pasadena, and now live in Rancho Cucamo nga. I love SoCal!
i'm not a native~ i moved to irvine when i was 12 from virginia
i'm currently in berkeley for school but i miss socal so much :]
Born and raised in the same little bubble of Orange County. Flew the nest for college in Colorado, came back for work and family. haha.
