The Bloggers With The Most To Say

Anyone else blog on debt? (Money?) That's what I do.. I've gotten a lot of "Wow. A 20something MONEY blogger? Weird..." Most of my readers are out of their 20s, which is kind of sad for our fellow 20somethings.

Right now is when we need it the most... when we start making real money and major decisions! :)

BTW... this group should really be "Support for 20sbs who ADMIT they live with credit card debts"
;)
very true Shauna, I´m 28 next month and my debt started the past 2 years. The older I get the more debts I have, how does that make sense?
Damn I need to pay my monthly minimum now, even though that Stacie money advisor says: pay your credit cards.
Im trying!!! Student loans man, evil evil.
I don't blog on debt- but I do read them for tips on how to manage my own money. I'm just starting out, don't have too too much debt because I've been lucky enough to pay my way through most of my school. But by next year, I'll be stuck with student loans like everyone else- which I'm definitely not ready for.
I got some advice from a blogger who writes about finance...and she is 20something. She suggested reading Suze Orman's "The Money Book for the Young, Fabulous and Broke." Apparently is is very helpful in explaining somethings not all young people understand. The book is also really good for learning how to manage money - and is supposed to actually help you plan out a budget.

We all need to get off on the right foot...or get back there (in my case). So I'm going out to get this book ASAP. I'll report back after I read it.

Anyone else have suggestions?
I just started blogging about my debt today to the extent that I posted how much debt I have and each month there will be an update to the balances on my cards. Have to keep it real and put it out there.
I originally started my blog to hold myself accountable as I *tried* to pay down my debt. I've since changed the name of it and started blogging about more general topics. My finances are a frequent topic, however :)
I blog about general stuff but I do plan on covering the topic of my finances. actually the post I'm doing tonight will hit up on what I'm struggling with right now. I just joined Wesabe and mint. I use Mint b/c I like the automatic updates for my account and Wesabe b/c they have a nice social community on finance.
New to the group and most certainly admit to having credit card debt.
