WTF?

Yes, there's a group (this) and a forum topic (see link in group description). This group is mostly to gather up our resources and to list them in one place.

More heads are better than one, after all.

I'd probably even nuke the word "blogging" from that description so it reads more like the one on the group homepage. I for one am willing to offer my expertise outside of web-related stuff, and the "blogging" reads like we're focusing on a very specific range of topics.

If you're down to help with the wide range of tech, you definitely get +15 to cool factor. But seeing as how we're a blogging community I figured we'd try to start small.

Recently I spoke with the chief admin to open up an entirely different forum so people don't have to join this group to ask q's. So maybe let's boil this down to just the people who are out in the forums actively looking for questions to answer?

You just got your forum. I noticed it just a few moments ago. ;)

And that sounds like a reasonable proposal. Here's another: What about a "Meet The Geek" thread (here in the group) where members can list off some of the things they have the most experience with, should someone have a question they want to ask of a particular member or two? Unfortunately, I think that's going to be quite long for me... :|

I like that! Going to re-shape this thread and start a new one.

Also it might be a good idea to keep this open. After all we can't find all the IT pros on this network at once.
