The Bloggers With The Most To Say

Be it one full of photos or lengthy reviews of travel?

Would you rather a travel blog post about a particular holiday be all-inclusive or split up by the day?

Do you like reading reviews or just a summary?

Photos generally catch my eye and posts where I learn something. And if I am not learning, at least something that gets me excited. My favorite lately has been Nomadic Matt's "Great Festivals of the World." http://www.nomadicmatt.com/travel-blogs/great-festivals-of-the-world/

I agree, i think photos catch my eye. As far as the type of post, I like to see things split up by city. If the entire holiday is spent in one place, then maybe 2 days per post?

I've been writing for over a year about my travels through Italy, and posting travel tips on my blog.

Photos and reviews.
I always try to link the name of a place with the website so the reader can easily check the place out.

I really like personal stories more than reviews or even photos. I love to read about people's interactions with the local culture, or especially how something that happened to them abroad causes them to reflect on their life... I love how travel can impact one's world view and even one's view of themselves.. if that makes any sense?

There are SO many travel blogs out there, that it's difficult to create one and different from all the rest. Of course, photos are always the top priority for me, but I also like it when a person is abroad all the time, like as a career or hobby, and that they switch places fairly often. This unfortunately takes a big budget and free schedule, which most of us aren't so lucky to have...
