Where are you going next?
I was wondering where people were planning on traveling to in the near future.
This July. I am going back to Prague, where I used to go to school, to show my parents around since they have never been. Then from there I am going on a river cruise to Austria, Hungry, and Germany. I am usually not a fan of cruises (had some bad experiences), nor being stuck on a boat with my parents but I get my own room and there are stops every day which is good cause I always HATE those days where you are just stuck on the ship.
Anyone else going anywhere soon or this summer?

I just got off a cruise ship. The food SUCKS. It's like eating at the same restaurant 3 times a day for 7 days. WTF. Definitely try to catch some good food while you are on land. Pack it up with you and take it back on the boat.

I've got fed up waiting to go on my round the world adventure so I'm heading off to explore the Highlands and Islands of Scotland next week starting with the West Highland Way - a 95 miles walk from Glasgow to Fort William.

Next trip to South of France, travel along the coast into Italy, maybe up into Switzerland, southern Germany, Czech and Hungary
Can't get time off stupid work for a couple of months though, so maybe early november

I'm off to Lima, Peru in 3 weeks! I traveled through South America a year ago and fell in love with the continent. Coming back to the US, I had a really corporate consulting gig in LA for a year. Decided it wasn't my thing so I'm off to Peru to set up a business promoting indigenous art from the Andes.
I loved Prague while I was there! Tourist trap, but definitely has it's charm. I especially enjoyed Slovakia and Budapest while in Eastern Europe. -
