I'm back in the States now after three years of living abroad and I was playing that lame "Would you Rather?" boardgame the other night when I pulled the question:
Would you rather live in your homestate (or province) for the rest of your life and never be allowed to leave? Or would you rather leave your home country and never, ever be allowed to return?
To the me that answer was a no brainer...(leave my home country. I mean DUH). But surprisingly, half the people in the group I was playing with chose the first option. They'd rather stay (in our case, California), for the rest of their lives than leave the US and never return.
I'd have to say I'd choose leaving & never returning - I'd miss the people I love but I can always fly them out to visit me! I mean, who doesn't loooooove a vacation with somewhere free to stay! :)
This is a terrible question! I love to leave, but I always come back. I think I'd have to choose leave, since there's so much out there left to discover, but I'd have to find another base to start a life in. Which would be difficult, particularly with all my family in my beautiful home province (BC)!
Well, I am moving to England. I never considered not returning, at least for a visit. But if I have to choose, then definitely leave and never return. My family can come and visit me instead!
