sorta unemployed

I started doing contract and freelance work when I got fired in October. It's working out ok for me. Has anyone else been doing the same? I got a part-time job on the side to bring in something weekly, in case I had no freelance for that week.

It's been tough but I'm much happier. Probably the best thing my boss could have ever done for me. That office was full of insane people. It actually made me start a website (launching soon) called Office of Idiots. So many of my friends and I have horrible work stories. I think everyone does, but it's hard to put that stuff online without getting in trouble. So I made a place where the stories that you just have to share can be shared anonymously w/o anyone getting in trouble.

Any of you ever been happy to leave your job?
