Hello all! I was born here in WA and haven't moved since! I've only lived in the PNW though, mostly just Seattle and Elma (if anyone knows where that little town is ha)... but currently in Olympia. =] I complain about the weather all the time, even though I am used to it and would never have it anyway else!

I have lived in Washington my entire life. I'm going to school with the goal of ultimately teaching internationally, but the PNW will always be my home. This is absolutely the most beautiful place I have ever been!

Anyone familiar with Whidbey Island? My heart will forever be there, even though I've recently moved to the SE part of the state, a short distance from Portland. I could never do the city. Country gal all the way. :)

Hello everyone. Just joined. I was raised in Bremerton went to college in seattle and now live in NYC...

I miss the mountains and the people. plan to move home someday.

I am originally from Olympia, but whenever I used to travel to other parts of the country and people asked where I'm from, I always just said Seattle. They get too confused when you say Olympia and even more confused when you try to complain that Seattle is not the capitol city. And I agree... Twilight is giving us bad press, there are so many great Washington destinations besides Forks!

I completely agree...I feel it is a very sad thing when I speak with people from other states and they think that Seattle is the capital of Washington....

I guess we could consider ourselves elite? (makes me feel less awkward than correcting everyone...)

I don't understand why everyone assumes you are from Seattle if you are from Washington. I live in a suburb of Everett, not Seattle. There are so many nicer places to visit than Seattle, though I admit, I love the aquarium.

i have lived here my whole life (w/the exeption of the first couple yrs..born in alabama) and i love it here. I'm happy to see that we have a group, Washingtonians rock!
