I stopped basing my progress solely on the scale. It doesn't tell you how far/long you can run, it doesn't show how much you've sweat at the gym, it doesn't tell you how many push-ups you can do. I know that I've still got awhile to go, but it's not the poundage that I'm focusing on now. It's my overall health :) And when that focus changed, it's easier for me to cope with daily and weekly fluctuations.
Totally agree! Number's don't prove anything. It's how you feel. Thanks for the support!
I weigh myself obsessively but hate it too because it's rarely what I want it to be! lol
I hate it but I do it every morning. Never during the day or at night because then it always goes up. I like to think that the morning weight is the equilibrium, ya know? I do a weekly weigh in every Sunday so I can keep track of my weight loss for the week. This week was -2.2 lbs :)
