Due to a recent influx of both spam and complaints about spam, the
Admin Team decided to institute a new Anti-Spam Policy.
Our Definition of Spam: The definition of spam will be
expanded to include any generally addressed message to more than
ten (10) members. Some common examples of such mass-messaging-spam
include messages promoting your blog, promoting contests on your
blog, or asking for votes for various awards.
Surfing profiles and dropping your link into the comment box will
also be included in this definition.
Violators of this policy will receive two warnings. If a third
warning needs to be issued, membership privileges will be
revoked.
If you receive a message that you consider to be spam, please
email [reportspam at 20sb.net] and include both the
sender and the body of the message you received.
This new rule is rooted in the justified outcry against the
increasing amount of self-promotion going on around 20SB.
We’re all here to meet new people and maybe attract new traffic
to our blogs, but doing so should not detract from the experience
of other users.
