Alexia Vernon is a freelance writer, blogger, speaker, certified coach, trainer and performer based in Jersey City, NJ. She is the owner of Catalyst for Action, a coaching and training company that empower leaders to align their strengths with their values to build and sustain successful and balanced employees and organizations. She teaches speech, theatre, and women’s studies at CUNY/John Jay College and New Jersey City University. She is published in We Don’t Need Another Wave, contributes to the F-Word Zine, and is featured in Grassroots: A Field Guide to Feminist Activism, TimeOut NY, Backstage, Las Vegas Review-Journal and Nevada Woman.
