My latest craftiness...

This week has been full of craftiness for me. I completed a dress for Mia (without using a pattern). The pictures aren't that great - the hem is actually straight, but I couldn't get the angle right :-P.

We should totally do that!! Although I am awful a reading one book and sticking to it. My nightstand has about 6 I'm working on right now.

But it is a really good idea, and to be able to talk about it and bounce ideas back and forth... I'll see if I can find it.

If you have any tips for the beginner sew-er, I'd love to hear them! I haven't used a sewing maching since I was in 8th grade (and I didn't pay attention then lol) so I'm about to try to figure one out (thank goodness for instruction booklets! haha) and see if I can handle using one (I hope so, my husband bought it for me! haha)
