I graduated from college in 2006 armed with hopeful ideals and bright ideas. A journalism major, I took a gig as a reporter at a small-town daily newspaper in Charlottesville, Va., before trekking back up to my native N.J. to pursue my pipe dream of sports writing. After battling grave-yard shifts, low pay and living again with the parents, I moved back to Charlottesville and am now dabbling in the corporate world as a financial reporter.
