About Me:: Twenty six year old giddily married to her best friend. Texas native. Former Newspaper editor and writer. Aspiring novelist and short story writer.

After years in the newspaper and magazine industry, I'm pursuing my dream of being a children's writer. My goal is to write short stories that bring comfort and joy to women and middle grade and YA books. I want to make people smile with my words, to dance with joy.

I never pass up apple pie and bacon cheeseburgers. My favorite way to spend a day is with my husband and two Chihuahuas, Bitty and Bear. My motto: Be a happy duckie! My goal: to publish stories that make people want to twirl in delight.

What makes you different from other bloggers?: My goal is to write shorter novels for both women and children that they can read in one sitting and treasure forever.
