Language Barrier

Every minor leaguer has at least one funny story of a time when the English Language proved to be a problem for a foreign teammate. Here's mine:
It was 2007 in Birmingham, Alabama. I was playing for the Jacksonville Suns, the AA affiliate of the LA Dodgers. The team hotel in Birmingham was one of the few in the league that had a mall within walking distance.
