I am originally from New York and came to Maine because I was starting a new chapter in my life. I am done with my Masters and done with school! I met the love of my life Andrea up here and we are continuing to spend our lives together. We also have a dog Ruby that lives with us. We got married and absolutely loving it!
I just started my student teaching this week, and of the 4 recesses, the kids have been out just once because of the cold. If these second graders get even half as antsy when theyre kept in as the kindergarteners I observed, its going to be a long winter.
Apparently, we're the only two from Maine on here! Haha

Fantastic to hear that she knows sign language!!! I am majoring in Special Education for the Deaf, Mild Disabilities, and Early Childhood. It's fantastic. I love teaching and I can't wait to get out there in the classroom and get to work! :-D
Well, the wedding is hopefully going to be in the summer of 2011. He's a great guy and has been very patient waiting for me to graduate. He popped the question Christmas Eve of 2006.
So you worked as a grad student??

Congrads for seeing the light at the end of the formal education tunnel!! I have three semesters left of my never ending undergrad. It's a great feeling to know that your life will soon be free of classes that make you so poor that you have to resort to eating dehydrated noodles. LOL
How's the new chapter going??
